Dr. Inês Correia de Sá also performs other surgeries, namely Reconstructive Surgery.

She has special interest in breast reconstruction, head and neck reconstruction, benign and malign skin tumours treatment, hand surgery and burn treatment.

She completed her training in Microsurgery and Breast Reconstruction at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC and Hand Surgery at Stanford University in Palo Alto, USA and in Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery at Miami Childrens’ Hospital in Miami, USA.

She is currently doing intensive research work on Wound Healing. From this work, scientific papers were already published in international renown journals, and many lectures have been presented in international conferences and meetings in Europe and in the United States. This work has also been honoured with several awards and grants.

These and other procedures may be performed within the scope of Plastic Surgery, under general or local anaesthesia.
